J200 Reporting the News – Oakland North
J200 Oakland North focuses on local reporting in Oakland, Calif. and the surrounding area. While it started as a hyperlocal news operation, it’s since expanded and generally covers regional issues that are relevant to all Oaklanders. Students will be assigned beats and work as local reporters covering a range of issues.
