Susan Cohen
Susan Cohen is an award-winning multimedia storyteller with experience in print, web, and video. She completed a master’s degree at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism in 2015, where she specialized in documentary production. During that time, her short film Up-and-Coming premiered at the Seattle Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. Susan’s print and video work has been published by the Charleston City Paper (where she served as staff writer and editorial assistant), the San Francisco Chronicle, KQED, the East Bay Express, Cannabis Now Magazine, Merry Jane, and other outlets. Currently, Susan serves as the production coordinator for Digital Initiatives at ITVS, working on Indie Lens Storycast and other digital documentary projects and managing the annual Digital Open Call.
