Her unconventional journey into journalism spans archaeology, marketing, wine, and healthcare—fields that have deepened her curiosity about people, cultures and justice. Renee has covered elections, school budgeting, state funding, First Amendment disputes and more. Her work has been featured in Santa Monica Daily Press, AfroLA, KPFK, KALX, Richmond Confidential, and various community college publications.
