I Yun Chan
I’m an audio producer and reporter with an interest in covering Global Politics, Human Rights, Mental Health, LGBTQ+ Communities and Culture.
Before transitioning to audio journalism, I was an undergrad in Taiwan, where I worked for my campus radio station, covering a range of local topics from the Indigenous community in New Taipei City to the national long-term care policy and the same-sex marriage movement in Taiwan.
I also worked as an associate producer at a multilingual podcast network based in Taipei, where I contributed to three different shows: The Taiwan Take, a show about current affairs in Taiwan and their impact on the world, Five Star Nation, a show about China’s political and economic influence in the world, and On the Right Side of the Ambassador, a show about diplomacy and culture.
