Jeremiah O. Rhodes

Class of 2024

Jeremiah O. Rhodes (he/him/his) is a Southern journalist and filmmaker.

Rhodes is passionate about covering stories related to power – its weaponization, ways that people build and lose it and those most affected by it. His past work has explored the intersections of race, sexuality, history and identity in the American South. He hopes to expand those subject areas at Berkeley.

His journalism work has been recognized by College Photographer of the Year, Scripps Howard Awards and the National Press Photographer’s Association.
