In 2002, alumna Helen Diller and her family took a visionary step to help ensure the future excellence of Jewish studies at UC Berkeley. Through a generous endowment, the Helen Diller Family Program in Jewish Studies supports a multi-disciplinary visiting Israeli scholars program administered by the Center for Middle Eastern Studies within International and Area Studies and a graduate fellowship and research grant program administered by Jewish Studies with the College of Letters and Science.
