Clara Mokri
Clara Mokri is a visual journalist from Los Angeles, CA. A former Division 1 basketball player at Yale University, she received her BA in Political Science in 2018 and is currently completing her Master’s degree in documentary filmmaking at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. Previously, she worked in the photo departments at Vice and TIME, and as an editorial intern at Surfer Magazine.
Her work has been featured in TIME, Vice, Surfer Magazine, California Sunday, New York Magazine, Mother Jones, Sports Illustrated, Aint—Bad, The Pulitzer Center and Bay Nature Magazine, among others.
She is the recipient of the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism 2019 Dorothea Lange Fellowship and the 2020 Jim Marshall fellowship.
