Robin Estrin in an investigative journalist and storyteller based in the San Francisco Bay Area. At UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism, Robin covered COVID-19 for The New York Times, the 2020 presidential election for CALmatters, and criminal justice for KQED and California magazine. She’s worked as a researcher for the Investigative Reporting Program and as an investigative editor for two graduate-level journalism courses: investigative reporting and covering extremism in the U.S.

Robin will graduate from UC Berkeley’s Journalism School in May of 2021. In July, she will join the Los Angeles Times as an intern on the Metro desk, and help cover her hometown.
