Orion Kelly
Orion Rose Kelly is a documentary filmmaker, photographer, and video/photo editor based
in the Bay Area. Orion received her Dual B.A. in Film & Digital Media and Studio Art from UC Santa Cruz. Her photos and video installations have been exhibited at The J.P. Getty, Lighthouse LA, Soapbox Gallery, Mary Porter Sesnon Gallery, and Urban Decay in London.
Orion’s thesis documentary ‘Na Luta Delas’, about the growing violence against trans and queer women of color in Rio de Janeiro, was nominated for a Student Academy Award. It also received a distribution grant from the Berkeley Film Foundation.
