Alondra de la Cruz
Alondra De La Cruz is a multimedia reporter from the Central Valley in California. She is currently working on obtaining her master in journalism from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in journalism from California State University, Stanislaus.
De La Cruz was an editor and reporter for The Signal Newspaper, interned at KCRA 3 Sacramento, and held the position of Station Manager at KCSS 91.9FM. She is currently reporting for Oakland North and is a production assistant at ABC7 in San Francisco. She is also the 2018 White House Correspondents Associations’ Student Scholarship recipient.
De La Cruz uses text and video to tell human stories that affect underrepresented communities. She has reported stories related to social issues, homelessness, community, and politics.
