Faviola Leyva
Faviola is currently video teacher and producer at KDOL-TV in Oakland. There she teaches a video production class at Oakland International High School and at KDOL-TV’s after- school program. She also freelances and occasionally shoots and edits video. She graduated from UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism in 2016, focusing on video storytelling.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During her studies at UC Santa Barbara, she interned at KCSB 91.9 FM Santa Barbara and Entravision Communications San Diego – gaining experience in both radio and television.
