Noelia Gonzalez
Noelia Gonzlez is a multimedia reporter with a love for video journalism. During the last years of her career she has been reporting mostly on health, science and technology for different outlets in Uruguay (her home country) and the United States, including Univision. She spent a summer in Alaska, working as a video intern at Alaska Public Media. She currently works with the Spanish team at Al Jazeera’s AJ+, in San Francisco, as a video editor and producer.
In May, Noelia obtained a master’s degree at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism, where she specialized in video journalism and health reporting. She held a Kaiser Permanente fellowship and a School Merit fellowship for the 2015-2016 academic year.
Her skills include writing (English and Spanish), filming (DSLR), video editing (Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro X), photography, audio editing (Adobe Audition), Photoshop and InDesign; mobile reporting, WordPress and social media management.
Her native language is Spanish and she has knowledge in Portuguese and Italian, besides English.
