Evan Wagstaff

I'm currently enrolled in the UC Berkeley Journalism Masters program, looking to obtain skills and experience required to pursue a career as a professional reporter. I'm a believer in interactive news, that when people interact with information and see the consequences of their choices, they better understand the complexities behind the issues at hand. I have chosen to specialize in new media for this reason, to acquire a skill set that will allow me to present users with an immersive interactive experience.

University of California Santa Barbara
September 2010 - June 2010
I graduated with a major in Global Studies with an emphasis in Western Europe, with a 3.7 cumulative GPA and a 3.84 GPA for classes in my department. I spent my junior year in Barcelona, Spain, as part of an immersion program, with all courses taken in either Spanish or Catalan.
