David Thigpen
David Thigpen
Lecturer
David Thigpen is a former Time magazine reporter who covered Wall Street, popular music, and Chicago politics. His work has also been published in Rolling Stone and The New York Times. In 2018 he served as acting editor of The Chicago Reporter. At UC Berkeley, David designed and directed the new undergraduate journalism curriculum. He is also a member of the board at The Daily Californian and at the Institute for the Future in Palo Alto, California.
