Leah Rose
Leah Rose is a San Francisco-based reporter, public radio producer and DJ. Leah also hosts The Upshot, a podcast for San Francisco Magazine that features conversations with longform journalists.
Leah Rose is the former Music Editor of the hip-hop magazine XXL, where she worked for eight years before helping to create and co-host the SiriusXM radio show Lip Service on Shade 45. Leah later became the Brand Marketing Director of Conjure Cognac after orchestrating a joint venture between Ludacris and the Norwegian cognac house Birkedal Hartmann.
In 2010 Leah left New York City (and cognac) for San Francisco where she worked as a Marketing and Community Manager for the creative development agency, Noise. Leah graduated from UC Berkeley and is a Master’s in Journalism candidate at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
