Eli Benton Cohen
I am a student at the Berkeley Journalism School, where I cover immigration for Oakland North.
I specialize in long-form investigations and narrative storytelling, both written and audio. Previously, I was the host of Radio Pacific, a new show about California from KALW. Before that, I was a producer for two New York Times Podcasts, The Headlines and The Protocol.
Before that I was a producer at WNYC’s Radiolab, where I reported my favorite story, The Library of Alexandra. I occasionally take photographs.
I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and currently live in Berkeley, California.
