Brigid Acuña
Brigid Acuña is an event specialist on our communications team. Brigid comes to UC Berkeley Journalism with two decades of strategic program and events planning in public health, healthcare and academic settings. At UCSF, she supported the development of specialized training programs to build leadership in abortion and reproductive health services. At UC Berkeley, Brigid provided grant coordination and event planning support for Nobel Prize–winning scientist Professor Jennifer Doudna. She holds a Master of Public Health Education and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
