Ava Hu is a bilingual reporter focusing on data reporting and local accountability stories. She’ve been working on campaign finance, city budgets and public records. Her reporting on election-related misinformation targeting Asian Americans was published by The Guardian.

Ava holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and marketing from Syracuse University and is pursuing a master’s degree in data and business reporting at the University of California, Berkeley.
