Abene Clayton
Abené is a first-year student and is from the Bay Area. She enjoys exploring systematic injustices, and how they affect people of color and other historically underserved communities. She plans to use investigative techniques and visual elements including video and data visualization to start contribute new insights to popular narratives around race, culture, and systematic inequality. Her ultimate career goal is to in create long form investigative pieces for a news magazine show, like PBS Newshour.
