Paayal Zaveri
Paayal Zaveri graduated from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism in May 2017, with a focus in multimedia journalism. She is currently at CNBC’s San Francisco Bureau, covering tech, tech policy, and California economy for the network’s TV and digital platforms. She was previously an NBC/AAJA news fellow at CNBC. She’s also reported on education policy, housing and homelessness for the San Francisco Public Press and national politics for Talk Radio News Service in Washington, DC and arts and culture for KQED Public Radio’s The California Report. She earned her bachelor’s in history and psychology from UC Davis. While at Davis, Paayal was a reporter and editor for her college paper, The California Aggie.
