Jacob Shea
Jacob is a freelance journalist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has a B.A. in international affairs and German from Lewis & Clark College, and he currently attends the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. Jacob has worked for Stanford University’s Hopkins Marine Station, KQED, and Earth Island Journal. He specializes in long-form narrative writing and new media, and he covers such topics as climate change, food production, technology, and political extremism.
