Katherine McLean
I’m a second-year student focused on documentary filmmaking and writing. During my time at Berkeley, my stories have appeared in the Bay Area pages of The New York Times and the Bay Citizen, and my video work has appeared on pbs.org.
Before my Berkeley experience, I had been working in the field of documentary production for five years, most recently as an associate producer on a PBS adaptation of “The Botany of Desire” by Michael Pollan. I have experience assistant editing, doing sound, finding characters and archival footage and organizing international shoots.
