Hamza Fahmy
Hamza is from Egypt and grew up in French schools around the Middle East. He graduated from UC Berkeley, where he served as a news director for KALX, the university’s radio station. He has since worked as a digital producer for KRON4 and covered audio stories out of the Bay Area as an audio academy fellow at KALW, where he also won ISBC’s best student news feature for his story on child marriage in California. Hamza is a passionate soccer fan who loves documentaries, travel, and Middle Eastern politics.
