Erin Banks Rusby
Erin Banks Rusby is a freelance journalist based in Berkeley, California. She is interested in writing about ecology and how people engage with nature. After studying biology and Spanish at Willamette University, she joined the Palo Alto-based environmental nonprofit Grassroots Ecology where she led volunteer groups in environmental habitat restoration and education. Through narrative writing and other media, she hopes to make science and environmental topics accessible to a wider audience.
