Alison Vayne
Alison Vayne is a Journalism Graduate Student from the University of California, Berkeley.
Alison graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s Journalism degree. She first gained experience during an internship at a weekly newspaper, The South Philly Review, where she was in charge of handling social media, doing street interviews, and writing articles for the website and newspaper. Alison also did some freelance work for the online magazine Global Philadelphia and interned as a videographer for The NephCure Foundation.
Originally trained for print and online journalism, Alison will be focusing on TV and documentary studies at Berkeley. She believes her journalism experience and studies will help her professionally produce a story in the medium in which it can best be told.
