Journalist with Social Media Networking Experience

Progressive Source Media believes that a better world is possible, and we are looking for an experienced social media and messaging pro who feels the same way.

This is a dream gig for the right person. Starting end of July/early August, work will average 20 hours a week for three months (possibly more) with pay of $30 an hour. You will get to collaborate with experienced talented people on some of the most exciting democratizing media projects out there. Our projects will be high profile, look great on your resume, and make you proud of the impact of your work.

Applicants must be UC Berkeley Journalism School graduates or work-experienced students with linkable demonstrations of their past work.

Candidates must reside in NorCal at least part of the time and be available to meet in our Sebastopol office one day every week or two.

Candidates must reside in NorCal at least part of the time and be available to meet in our Sebastopol office one or two days every week or two weeks. She/he/they must have their own modern laptop and be equipped for broadband from their home office. Respondents must reply with links to their websites, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest where they have demonstrated their proficiency and effectiveness at crafting narratives, headlines, memes and social media campaigns that for targeted audiences.
