J230 Introduction to Business Reporting

This course teaches student the tools to be qualified for employment at business journalism organizations. Taught by top editors at Bloomberg News, a global news organization of 2,700 in more than 150 bureaus in 70 countries. This class follows the “Bloomberg Way,” a set of standards and techniques used that apply to any business reporting job. Each student will write a business story between 1,000 and 1,200 words.
