Visual Journalist - San Francisco Chronicle

The San Francisco Chronicle is seeking a visual journalist to help us tell our best stories in inventive and engaging ways. The ideal candidate will have the ability to conceive, research and execute informational graphics that play to the strengths of both our print and digital platforms. A passion for design and data and a collaborative spirit with our editorial and digital teams are a must. Preferably three or more years of experience creating reader-friendly data-driven displays in a deadline environment. Print and digital graphic design or illustration skills are a plus.


Candidates should be proficient in the Adobe suite (including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign), using spreadsheets to manage information, and coding with HTML and CSS.
