Trenise Ferreira

Trenise Ferreira is a Cal Berkeley Graduate Student pursuing a Master’s degree in Multimedia Journalism. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast & Digital Journalism with a minor in Cinematic Arts from the University of Southern California in 2012. Her work has been featured in major media outlets such as ESPN.com, NBCSports.com, Bleacher Report, CBSSports.com and The WashingtonPost.com. Previously, she has worked at ABC One in Glendale, CA.

She is passionate about sports media and the film industry, and was the lead writer and editor for a Sports Illustrated syndicated website, ReignofTroy.com, for two years. She also served as the Lead Writer for Bleacher Report, covering USC Football for the 2013-2014 season.

Taking a year off between undergraduate and graduate school, she taught Spanish to sixth, eighth, ninth and tenth graders at a private school in her hometown of Vacaville, CA. She is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the Football Writers Association of America.
