Terray Sylvester
For two years Terray Sylvester edited The Sopris Sun Newspaper, a non-profit weekly in Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley. Before that, he worked for High Country News Magazine, and reported for Moonshine Ink, an independent paper published in English and Spanish in the Lake Tahoe area of California. His work has run in the San Francisco Chronicle, High Country News, on Huff Post Live, on the Rocky Mountain Community Radio Network and elsewhere.
Terray has reported on the conservation politics of adventure athletes, a community’s efforts to prevent natural gas drilling in its watershed, the environmental costs of renewable energy, Colorado’s pot boom, and other topics.
