Melissa Hellmann
Melissa is a San Francisco Bay Area-based reporter covering breaking news, social justice and education.
Over the past four years, she has written about domestic and international news for a range of publications including TIME, The Christian Science Monitor, Time Out, SF Weekly and many others.
She is particularly interested in human rights and the subcultures throughout the world that grow between the cracks. Melissa recently graduated from U.C. Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism, where she focused on long-form writing and honing her multimedia skills.
