Dorothy Atkins
Dorothy M. Atkins is an investigative reporter at Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism. Atkins began her career as a reporter in 2010 at the Aspen Daily News in Aspen, Colo. and in the summer of 2013 she interned at The Miami Herald. She’s covered a range of issues including affordable housing, real estate development, the ski and snowboard industry, oil and gas development, the growing renewable energy industry and the legalization of medical marijuana. In Aspen, Atkins also covered annual events that take place in the area like ESPN’s Winter X Games, Aspen Ideas Fest and the Aspen Security Forum. During the 2012 general elections, she was a stringer for the Associated Press in Pitkin County.
