Jeremy Lin

Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Jeremy C.F. Lin is a graphic reporter, designer, data journalist and front-end developer. After graduating from Chinese Culture University with a B.A. in Journalism, Jeremy worked with different local newspapers and media outlets, covering stories ranging from nuclear power generation in Germany and Taiwan, Taiwanese presidential debates, Burmese refugees issues in Thailand and many more.

With a strong interest in data visualization and interactive news, Jeremy has dived into the pool of coding, statistics and design, combining data visualization and graphic reporting to construct a more engaging and transparent narrative.

He has been named a UCBerkeley Graduate School of Journalism Dean’s Fellow, 2015 Google Journalism Fellow (embedded in the Texas Tribune) and has been selected to participate in the Online News Association Student Newsroom, the prestigious New York Times internship program and the Washington Post internship program. He is currently interning with the Washington Post Graphics Dept. where he is busy reporting, writing, coding and designing.
