Boom Town, Vietnam
by Tommy Nguyen

In Vietnam, more than half of the population is 30 years old or under. Walking the streets of Saigon, you can feel the impatience of this generation, and it comes at a time when economic opportunities have never been better for the youth: Vietnam has the second fastest-growing economy in the region (behind China) and fourth fastest in the world.

On this 30-year anniversary of Saigon's fall, which ended the Vietnam War, reporter Tommy Nguyen visits his birthplace to watch a booming city rise above its history. But the young people in the country have their challenges to face. So does the young reporter.
