Teeth

Our first show of the semester focused on those pearly whites we all have a love-hate relationship with: teeth.  Sierra Filucci explored biting in childhood.  Ian Sherr looked into dental care for homeless residents of San Francisco’s Tenderloin District.  And Julie Johnson interviews her dentist, and then investigates people’s “grillz.”  We also have a political report from Kim Geiger about an interesting twist to the Obama Campaign.

Biting

If you’ve ever been bitten by another person, you know it hurts.  Sometimes it’s a good hurt, like a little love bite.  Sometimes it’s a bad hurt, like when Mike Tyson bit Evander Hollifield’s ear.  But it’s not just lovers and boxers who bite.  North Gate Radio’s Sierra Fillucci tells the story of pre-schoolers who bite.
