For our final show of the semester, we digest the subject of salt. Rina Palta explores what happens when a person is accused of using too much salt on cable TV. Laurie Burkitt reports on the dangers of eating too much or not enough salt. Cynthia Dizikes reports on the growing industry of gourmet salt. David Gelles takes us on a tour of the store devoted to salty dogs, pirates that is. And Andi McDaniel reports on desalination plants.
