About Nausheen Husain

Nausheen (pronounced no’-sheen) is an aspiring multimedia journalist and writer.
Nausheen is pursuing a Master’s degree in digital media at Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. A 2011 graduate of New York University, she studied journalism at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, as well as Middle Eastern studies. She is interested in business, technology, the American Muslim community, culture and humor.
She is trying to focus on developing her video, audio and coding skills, but gets distracted at times by her love for delving into issues and writing long pieces that no one reads all the way through.
Besides writing and tweeting, Nausheen enjoys music, reading news magazines, the occasional movie, critiquing the grammar of others, trying out different kinds of chai and rooting for her beloved Chicago Bulls and Bears.
