FRONTLINE/World has launched a new web series, "Flash Point," an online slideshow showcasing the work of both up-and-coming and established artists and photojournalists. The first presentation is "The Price of Sex," by documentary photographer and J-School instructor Mimi Chakarova, who has covered sex trafficking in Eastern Europe and the Middle East for the last three years. Chakarova received the 2005 Inge Morath Award from Magnum Photos for her work.

This year's Inge Morath Award was given to Photography Lecturer Mimi Chakarova for her work on sex trafficking in Eastern Europe. This prize is awarded annually to a female documentary photographer under the age of 30 in memory of the late Magnum member Inge Morath.

World Affairs Council Displays Chakarova's Work
Exhibit

Lecturer Mimi Chakarova's photographs of Kashmir will be on exhibit at the World Affairs Council from January 31 - March 31, 2005. The opening reception is on Thursday, February 10th at 7:15 p.m.
