About Megan Molteni

Megan Molteni is a journalist from the Midwest recently transplanted to the Bay Area. After graduating with a major in biology from Carleton College she worked in a variety of research positions, from donning waders and working with stream sediments to tracking the movements of Hawskbill turtles in Costa Rican waters. Since discovering that her love for science was exceeded only by a passion for reading and writing about it she moved back to Minnesota and interned with the Freshwater Society and Minnesota Public Radio, working as the production assistant for Morning Edition. She hopes to advance her storytelling skills at UC-Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, and take advantage of revolutions in new media to inspire and engage a new generation of potential science-ophiles.
