About Erik Reyna

Erik Reyna is a visual journalist who likes to wear different hats. On some days he takes photos, other days he is sitting in front of the computer writing code, and other days, well, he likes to put his boots on and dance. He just began his graduate studies in New Media at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. He earned his Bachelors of Journalism in Photojournalism from the University of Texas at Austin. He has previously worked at the San Antonio Business Journal, interned for KUT 90.5, the Victoria Advocate and La Raza, a Spanish language weekly in Chicago. He is actively involved in the National Association of Hispanic Journalists as well as the Online News Association.
