Alana Levinson
Alana Levinson is a journalist from San Francisco interested in politics, arts and culture. As a student at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, her focus is narrative writing and multimedia. She’s been selected as the 2013-2014 Felker Magazine Center Graduate Student Researcher.
Before grad school, Alana studied writing, literature and publishing at Emerson College and worked in New York in both magazine and book publishing. Over the course of her career, she’s consoled crying monsters at Lady Gaga’s book event, searched for Republicans in Dolores Park, investigated Bachelorette bracketology and attended the largest Christian Rock music festival in the country.
