Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enterprising, shooting, writing, editing and presenting news stories for multiple distribution platforms, including KEZI 9 News, KEZI 9.2 Nonstop News and kezi.com. Creatively producing stories and effectively using pictures and natural sound to tell a story, with strong audio/video linkage. Perform live shots from the newsroom and in the field.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

• This is a full-time position; rate of pay is hourly.

Experience:

One to two years television news experience as a reporter preferred. University/College degree in journalism or communications. The ability to use, transport and lift video camera equipment and tripod (approx. 55 lbs.) without assistance from grip or photographer. Strong writing and editing skills. Skilled at non-linear editing and videography. Ability to work under intense deadline pressure. Outstanding interpersonal skills; a team player.
