Description:
Shooting, editing and writing stories for broadcast. Creatively producing stories and effectively using pictures and natural sound to tell a story, with strong audio/video linkage. Perform live shots from the newsroom and in the field. Anchor and produce newscasts as assigned.
Experience:
College degree in journalism or related discipline required. 1-2 years prior television news experience as reporter/anchor preferred. Ability to use, transport and lift video camera equipment and tripod (approx. 55 lbs.) without assistance from a grip or videographer. Proficient at shooting and editing videotape under extreme deadline pressure. Ability to produce newscasts a plus. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Oregon driver’s license. Outstanding interpersonal skills; a team player.
