Organizational Objective/Purpose:
The Charles Schwab Investor Services Field Integration organization supports the Investor Services enterprise. The team supports project management and implementation efforts impacting each Investor Services group. A unit within Field Integration supports the management of content for field Investor Services employees. This group is responsible for editing and publishing on the firm’s intranet site business critical authoritative information supporting client facing employees.
Brief Description of Role:
This role will be an individual contributor. They will be responsible for the management and maintenance of three critical internal sites and other communications which support a variety of our client-contact employees. The team is a service / support organization whose charter is to provide timely, relevant, and accurate Authoritative Information to our field reps. This position requires that you work closely with all levels within the firm and with nearly every organization, including but not limited to marketing, compliance, product or tool owners, public relations, technology groups, and senior-level management.
Daily basis:
Responsible for creation, management, and maintenance of IWIN (I Want Information Now, a Schwab internal Content Management System)
Focus on creating and managing a high value intranet site for Investor Services.
Shift Flexibility:
7am – 4pm MST
9am – 6pm MST
Experience:
Technical/Functional Qualifications:
Required:
Experience in a Web publishing environment
Editing / copyediting and / or writing for the Web
Knowledge of Content Management Systems or Internet / Web technologies (such as TeamSite or other relevant system and HTML, XML, JavaScript, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize work, especially in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well without direct supervision
5+ years professional experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 or 2010, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), or taxonomy a plus
