CQ is seeking a staff writer for our specialty publication on budget and appropriations, Budget Tracker. The staff writer is responsible assisting the Budget Tracker editor in putting together the product during the day through reporting, blogging, and curating news, analysis and documents about appropriations, the budget process, government spending and taxes. The successful candidate will have detailed understanding of budget and fiscal policy matters, a passion for the topic, an ability to convey that enthusiasm to others in writing, and an ability to write and edit on deadline.
