Description:
Feature Story News, the world's leading independent broadcast news agency, seeks a full-time Shooter / Editor to work in our busy San Francisco Bay area bureau.
We're looking for someone with an extensive track-record shooting and editing network-quality daily news packages.
You'll be deeply experienced in the use of cameras like the Sony EX1 or EX3.
You'll have complete fluency in Final Cut Pro.
You'll be richly experienced in the supply of video via FTP using a variety of compression standards.
And you'll have developed an ability to shoot and light creatively, under deadline-critical circumstances.
This is not an on-camera position, and will involve regular travel throughout California and sometimes further-afield. The successful candidate will be able to serve as a key member of a small, flexible bureau producing daily news material for a wide array of broadcasters worldwide.
