Attention filmmakers and surf enthusiasts: Balikbayod is a project of the 501-c3 non-profit, The San Francisco Filipino Cultural Center. Our mission is to promote education first for youth in the Philippines through the love of surfing. We are a group of people who love the Philippines, love traveling, and would like to see surfing available to anyone who wants to try it, regardless of economic background.
We have tons of footage that we need edited. If you would like to help us log footage and eventually cut and edit a teaser and mini-documentary, we would love to work with you.
Experience:
Knowledge of video editing, logging, and Final Cut Pro- or the willingness to learn.

What you get for volunteering: We surf almost every weekend. If you want to learn to surf, we teach surfing for exchange of volunteer hours. Jinan has several different sizes of wetsuits that you use and we also have beginner boards. Contact us for more information.
