Are you an aspiring tech writer or blogger, or an aspiring tech entrepreneur with journalistic skills? The Founder Institute is offering a unique internship opportunity to write about the companies, news, and events coming out of the largest startup incubator in the world.

The selected intern will have the opportunity to learn from and meet top startup CEOs, and interact with various participants in the Silicon Valley startup ecosystem - from startups to investors to vendors. In addition, interns will have access to exclusive Founder Institute events, training sessions, and other content. There is no better internship opportunity you will find to meet startup people, learn the startup culture, and learn from the best in tech entrepreneurship.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

Writing weekly, original profiles on the founders and companies in our portfolio for distribution on our blog, media channels, and beyond
Assisting ongoing email marketing and social media marketing campaigns, and helping to create new ones
Assisting the coverage, planning and operation of several events - including our quarterly Founder Showcase event
Assisting in the growth of the Founder Institute brand as a leader in startup thought leadership via multiple channels
Anything and everything in between - we are a startup, so every day will be different and you will wear many hats!

Experience:

Requirements are as follows;

20 hr per week minimum commitment - including at least 2 days per week at our "Founder Warehouse" office in Menlo Park (days can be variable)
Strong writing skills, with a unique and personal writing style. In other words, the ability to tell engaging and thoughtful stories
A strong interest in, and understanding of, tech entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem (for example, you should know what an "MVP" is)
Strong computer/internet skills
Disciplined self-starter
Very Organized
Someone with a car is strongly preferred
