Knight Digital Media Speaker Series January 2012

How to Tell Stories with Data (Really)

Presented by Knight Digital Media Center

Edward Segel did computer-driven macroeconomic research at the hedge fund Bridgewater Associates after receiving a philosophy degree from Harvard University. This data-intensive research prompted Segel to pursue a Symbolic Systems MS degree at Stanford, focusing on data visualization and computational linguistics. Most recently, Segel has combined financial visualization and interactive storytelling at Bloomberg LP. He is now completing an MBA at Stanford's Graduate School of Business.
