John Arquilla

Arquilla is Professor of Defense Analysis at the US Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA, where he specializes in unconventional warfare and terrorism. He is the co-author, most recently, of Networks and Netwars: The Future of Terror, Crime and Militancy, just published in a second edition.

Mark Danner

Danner is a professor at the Graduate School of Journalism at Berkeley and a longtime staff writer at The New Yorker, who has covered Central America, Haiti, Iraq and other stories. He is the author of The Massacre at El Mozote.
